Titanic was called the ship of dreams.

And it was. It really was.

Titanic had set sail in April 1912, with 2,200 passengers ,crew and more on board hoping to get to the United Sates. Well, they didn't know that they're trip on the titanic was going to be the last trip for most of them...

On Sunday April 14th, Titanic hit an Iceberg . 1523 people went into sea when titanic sank. Six were saved from the water. Six out of 1523. Afterward 705 people can't do a thing but wait, wait to die, wait for an absolution that would never come.

Leonardo Dicaprio as Jack Dawson, a third class passanger who won his ticket on Titanic in a lucky hand of poker....a very lucky hand.

"I'm the king of the world!"

Kate Winslet as Rose Dewitt Bukater, a 17 years old, upper-class American suffocating under the endless parade parties with all polo matches and narrow people.

Titanic, the blockbuster hit that recently passed Star Wars as the biggest money-maker of all time. The movie tied with Ben Hur (1959) for the most Oscars ever awarded to one film. Titanic director James Cameron threw his arms above his head and shouted "I am king of the world!" Upon winning top prize for Best Picture, Cameron requested a moment of silence to remember the 1,500 victims of the 1912 disaster.

"My heart will go on", the title song to Titanic performed by Celine Dion have won the Oscar for best original song.
